Bronxville High School Boys/mixed team with coach Tunde Ajagbe
March 2, 2022: The Bronxville High School Squash teams traveled this past weekend to Philadelphia to compete in the U.S. Squash High School National Team Championship.
The Bronxville boys/mixed team competed in Division II. For the second time in its high school history, Bronxville also fielded a girls' team, which also competed in the Girls’s Division II.

The Bronxville boys/mixed team members who participated in the tournament include one senior, Co-Captain Molly Stoltz, two juniors, Co-Captain Charlie Clifford and Drew Doyle and four sophomores, Rustin Wiser, Andrew Shah, Pierce Martin and Quentin McCarthy.

Bronxville breezed through the first round, defeating The Potomac School of McLean, Virginia 6-1. In the quarterfinals, Bronxville edged out The St. Paul's School of Lutherville, Maryland in a tight 4-3 victory, with Molly Stoltz coming back from a 2-0 deficit and Drew Doyle closing out the team win with a 3-0 match. Bronxville lost in the semi-finals 2-5 to Tabor Academy, the ultimate winners of Division II. The team placed 4thin their division of 16 teams.

Senior Molly Stoltz, playing in the #2 position on the boys/mixed team, has had a stellar high school career, starting in the top 5 of the line-up for the Varsity Boys/Mixed team since she was a freshman. Stoltz, who is currently ranked #3 in the country in the Girls U19 Division, will be playing for Harvard next year.
Liz Doyle, a player parent said, "It was great to see the team carry on Bronxville's winning tradition this year and also have so much fun along the way."

Bronxville High School Girls Squash Team
For the second time in history, Bronxville fielded a girls' squash team at High School Nationals. The girls' team included three seniors, Captain Katie Hennessy, Lily Jebejian, and Sabrina Latham, four juniors, Ellie Clifford, Fiona Denning, Keala Schubert and Susan Xu and one sophomore, Scarlett Hine.

The girls' team defeated The Seven Hills School of Cincinnati, Ohio 5-2 in the first round. In the quarterfinals the team lost to Noble and Greenough School of Dedham, Massachusetts, the ultimate 3rd place finisher in Division II. The girls had two close 3-4 losses in their final two matches to finish 8th overall. This is an excellent second year result for the team, which jumped from the 5th Division in 2020 to the significantly stronger 2nd Division this year. There was no Championship in 2021.
Senior Katie Hennessy, who played in the #2 position for the girls' team, went undefeated in the tournament. Hennessy, who has been in the top 3 of the line-up since the teams existence, has had an excellent high school squash career, and was the team’s only undefeated player, going 7-0 for the season.
The girls also compete in the Fairwest League. They went 4-1 during the season.
Ellie Clifford who plays #1 was awarded the Most Valuable Player for the girls’ team.
