Dec. 15, 2021: Five-year-old Bubba is an all black domestic short hair who was found abandoned in Queens and living off of garbage. Poor Bubba was treated very badly by some people in that neighborhood, but finally made his way to the safety of a rescue group.
After some much needed kindness, love and patience from his foster family and the vet, he has acclimated nicely to living inside and is beginning to trust people again. Now he is ready to find his forever home and become a part of a family.
Bubba loves his toys and will play with them for hours. He also enjoys watching nature shows with his foster family. This brave little guy is not quite a cuddle-bug yet, but delights in being stroked on his cheeks and will reward you with purrs of gratitude. He would be very happy in a home that is gentle and patient with him and that has another cat to keep him company and make him feel extra safe.
Bubba has been to the vet and is purrfectly heathy. His injuries from his days of being a street cat have been treated, he has been neutered and brought up to date with his vaccinations.
