Concordia Conservatory to Kick Off Hoch Chamber Music Series on November 6, 2021

Oct. 20, 2021: Concordia Conservatory PLAYS ON!... announces the opening concert of the 20th season of the Hoch Chamber Music Series, “A Night in Italy,” on Saturday, November 6 at 7:00 pm at the Sommer Center for Performing Arts in Bronxville, New York. 

Artistic Director Lawrence Dutton collaborates with guest artists and Conservatory faculty Elizabeth Lim-Dutton, violin; Emanouil Manolov, violin; Sung Jin Lee, viola; Chungsun Kim, cello and Andrew Janss, cello. The program of Italian chamber works includes Puccini’s Cristantemi for String Quartet, Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence and Verdi’s String Quartet.  

Kathleen Suss, Executive Director of Concordia Conservatory says the community is ready for in person, live performances, “The Hoch Series as we call it, has become a vital and festive staple in our community and after a successful year and a half of broadcast concerts, we are extremely happy to be presenting the series in-person.” 

To ensure our Conservatory patrons and performers health and security, masks are required at all times for all patrons and visitors at the concert. Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for patrons over the age of 12. Patrons over age 12 who are not vaccinated must provide proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test to attend.

Concert tickets: $44 for adult, $22 for senior/child and subscriptions for the Hoch Chamber Music series are available at www.concordiaconservatory.org or 914-395-4507.
