Bronxville Pack 5 Cub Scouts Actively Recruiting Boys & Girls

By Rob Deichert

Sept. 22, 2021: Now that school is back in session, we are actively recruiting for Bronxville Pack 5 Cub Scouts.  Pack 5 is open to both girls and boys.  We are an active troop with many great activities and a focus on traditional Scout values such as friendship, teamwork, social responsibility, conservation and the outdoors.

Each year our key activities include overnight camping trips in the spring and the fall, a Pinewood derby (including a siblings race), rock climbing and go kart racing among others.  We also hope to plan our perennial favorite a winter overnight at the Museum of Natural History COVID permitting.

Throughout the year Scouts generally attend one Den meeting monthly, as well as a Pack meeting.  Den meetings are project-based and allow scouts to earn their merit badges.  Pack meetings are held at Scout Cabin in Bronxville and offer an opportunity for all of the dens to come together.

Bronxville Pack 5 Cub Scouts is open to all children grades 1-5.  All are welcome.
