May 12, 2021: U.S. News has released its "Best High School" rankings for 2021. According to the report, these rankings include "data on nearly 24,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia." Schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests, graduation and how well they prepare students for college.
Bronxville High School ranked #13 out of a total of 1,218 public high schools in New York State. The data in the report indicates that the AP® participation rate at Bronxville High School is 97% and the graduation rate is 100%.
The top schools on this list in New York State include a number of well known specialized math, science and engineering schools. Bronxville is the highest ranked Westchester high school on the list. Other schools is the area that ranked in the top 20 in New York State include Edgemont Junior-Senior High School at #14, Byram Hills High School at #18 and Rye High School at #19.
