Apr. 7, 2021: Spring into action with exciting classes at the Bronxville Adult School. Whether indoors via Zoom or outdoors in the invigorating spring air, Bronxville Adult School has a class you will enjoy.
If you're yearning for an in-person class, pickleball, tennis, or golf are available for you. And if you plan on sailing in the warmer weather, there is a boating safety course that's right up your alley.
If you've been using your time in quarantine to write, "Don't Think, Just Write!" will help you finish your opus, and when you do, you can "Sing, Sing, Sing!" or try "Life is a Cabaret," which is being given for the first time.
There are classes in computers and technology, how to take the best photos on your iPhone, and still life drawing and painting.
Among the many fitness offerings are Buff-Bones, Belly Dance, Zumba Gold, and walking for fitness groups, as well as several yoga classes.
Languages, real estate, guided meditation, and protecting your assets are available, too, in addition to a new class: "Critical Issues for Seniors."
There will be demonstration cooking classes as well, with recipes for you to try at home with your family and guests.
Dr. Christine Axen will continue her very popular History Happy Hour series on life in Medieval Times. There will also be an in-person tour of Grand Central and its fascinating history.
So take a look at the Bronxville Adult School website, www.bronxvilleadultschool.org and sign up to be transported to another time and place, learn a new skill, find the best ways to protect your assets, enjoy producing your art or how to prepare special treats to savor. There are sure to be classes that dress your yen for lifelong learning.
