Dear Fellow Villager,
The annual election for Village offices will be held on March 16, 2021. The candidates are Mary Marvin (running unopposed for re-election as Mayor) and Bob Underhill and Bill Fredericks (running unopposed for re-election as Trustees).
For us, although we are running under different party lines, this election provides an opportunity for us to re-affirm our shared commitment to stewardship and service to the Village, despite on occasion having differences on national level issues. We always try to listen to each other’s – and our constituents’ – views, and we pledge to continue in that spirit going forward. Like our two fellow Trustees, Helen Knapp and Mary Behrens (who are not up for re-election this year), we are committed to doing our very best for the Village – a place that we each feel so fortunate to call home. We are all here to serve you, whether by building upon past successes or identifying areas of improvement.
We do hope that you will come out to vote; it is important that all residents engage in the local government. You can click here for information about how to apply for a “no excuse required” absentee ballot, as well as information about when and where you can vote in the Village in person on March 16.
We expect that additional information about our respective backgrounds will be available on www.myhometownbronxville.com in the days before election. Each of us hopes that you will vote and that in any event, you will not hesitate to contact any of the Village’s Trustees going forward.
Mary Marvin Bob Underhill Bill Fredericks
