Feb. 10, 2021: Gabriel and Hope are bonded 12-15 pound terrier mixes that were found abandoned and tied up by the freeway in the Bronx.
Gabriel is three-years-old, and Hope is five-years-old, and they are patiently waiting for their forever to begin after being treated horribly by their former owner.
The two besties are inseparable, and we are hoping to find a wonderful family that would consider taking both of them in.
They are comfortably settling into their foster home and seem to be thriving with a little patience and understanding. They are both crate trained, wee wee pad trained, and are successfully starting to transition to going outside.
Both Gabriel and Hope are great with dogs and people but seem to enjoy barking at the cats they have met. Occasionally they seem a little fearful of car sounds, which is to be expected after being tied up close to the Cross Bronx highway.
A gentle and loving home with a yard and older children would be ideal for these two pups. They have a lot of love to share and only hope someone will give them a chance to show how special they are.
