Month of January: The Bronxville Adult School has a myriad of offerings throughout January including yoga, virtual tours French, Italian and Spanish lesson, Big Game Snacks and more. Click here to go to their catalogue and learn more.

Month of January: The Bronxville Senior Citizens offers Numerous zoom activities including bridge, exercise, tai chi, literature groups, yoga and more. Click here to view the January calendar of events.

January 28, 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Preventing Falls – Staying Safe at Home and Outdoors – Zoom.  Click here to register.  Covid and the winter weather may be causing more of us to stay home. But, being indoors can put you at risk for falls. Join Grace Kulinski, Senior Physical Therapist with NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, for an interactive presentation on ways to reduce your risk for falling in and outside of your home.

Saturday, January 30 to Sunday, February 7, 2021, Teatown Lake Reservation Nature Preserve will host a series of virtual programs featuring Connecticut falconer and wildlife rehabilitator Christine Peyreigne of Cristine’s Critters; Anne Swaim, executive director of Saw Mill River Audubon, and programs by Zeiss Sports Optics, as well as Teatown’s own animal ambassadors. January 31, 2021, 5:00 PM: Choral Evensong at Christ Church Bronxville will be livestreamed. The staff singers of the Christ Church Choir will sing this ancient office of evening prayer from the church and we hope that you will be able to join us as we take time out of our schedules to focus on the word of God through music. The evening canticles will be sung to the fourth setting by Adrian Batten in a gentle act of worship with music from the seventeenth century. February 9, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Feeling Blue? Managing Your Emotional Health this Season via zoom. Join us for a discussion on how the pandemic may be affecting your mental health. Dr. William Lamson, a clinical psychologist with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center, will explain the difference between feeling a little down and depression; describe Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD); and tell you when it is time to get help. He will also lead the audience in meditation and experiential exercises.  Register here.

February 24, 2021, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PMChildhood Anxiety During COVID-19 - Recognizing the Signs via zoom. Join us for this virtual program to better understand the impact of the pandemic on the well-being of our children. Drs. Sarah Coren and Kristin Toffey, clinical psychologists with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center, will teach you how to support your children during these challenging times.
