Jan. 27 2021: Below is the local Covid-19 Report for this week.
According to the Westchester County Covid-19 Dashboard, as of January 25, 2021, there were 58 cases in Bronxville. While this is lower than last week, it is still well above the pre-Holiday level. Cases rose in Yonkers, Mount Vernon and Tuckahoe this week. Cases are flat in Eastchester and near the pre-Holiday level.
As of January 24, the percent positive rate in New York State was 5.8 percent and in Westchester was 6.6 percent. These are both 7-day rolling averages.

Hospitalizations
Total hospitalizations in New York State for Covid-19 fell by over 500 this week. As of January 24, 2021, there were 8,730 hospitalizations in New York State, down 506 from last week. Of these hospitalization, 1,522 were in the ICU.
In the Mid-Hudson region, which includes Bronxville, as of January 24, there were 1,030 hospitalizations, down 31 from last week. There were 147 in the ICU, 1 fewer than last week.
In the Mid-Hudson region, hospital capacity, defined as the percentage of hospital beds available, is currently at 40%. ICU Capacity in the Mid-Hudson region is at 37%.
