Dec. 9, 2020: This holiday season Jansen Hospice is inviting the community to celebrate the lives of their loved ones via a video tribute.
For the past 36 years Jansen Hospice has invited the community to celebrate the lives of lost loved ones at their “Celebration of Lights” ceremony at the Reformed Church of Bronxville. This year’s remembrance, as with many other aspects of life, will be quite different. This holiday season, Jansen Hospice is inviting our community to celebrate the lives of their loved ones via a Jansen video film tribute – www.tribute.co/jansen.
“Celebrating the lives of those who have died is an integral part of the healing process,” explained Emily Liggett, Jansen Fund Board Chair. “Needless to say, Covid-19 has made it difficult for us to grieve as a community. That’s why Jansen decided to create a Jansen Video Tribute website where people from not just Bronxville, but all of Westchester county can create their individual tribute videos.
These personal tributes will eventually become part of a Jansen Film entitled ‘Lives Well Lived’ that will debut on local social media outlets.”“We hope that making a short film for the Jansen Tribute site is not only easy but also very comforting, and cathartic during this holiday season,” said Emily.
To make your video go to www.tribute.co/Jansen. The site is very simple and will guide you
through the process and can be done via smart phone, desktop or portable computer.
Donations to Jansen Hospice can also be made through the tribute page website.
