To the Community:
Nov. 4, 2020: When COVID-19 brought the world to a screeching halt, the BCW Tree House was ready to answer the call. Although we could no longer offer in-person support, we continued our renowned Tree House program virtually and provided hundreds of virtual sessions to individuals at no cost.
We expanded our services to include Covid-19 Specific Support Groups, Covid-19 Individual Counseling, Covid-19 Services for Spanish Speaking Families and Covid 19 School Professional Training.
Thanks to our supporters, The Tree House program will start again this month with a mix of returning and newly grieving families. I think one of our Tree House moms put it best: “This journey has been extremely challenging for all of us and I’m sure there are more challenges ahead. But the Tree house has served as a huge pillow for all of us throughout this rough patch.
Please know the Tree House is here for all who need to grieve in a supportive and accepting environment, and we are eternally thankful to those who have helped to make sure that continues to happen.
Forever Grateful,
Anne Marie Conlan, Director, Bereavement Center of Westchester
