Letter of the Community: Bronxville Police Community Relations Committee Holds First Meeting

Oct. 28, 2020

Dear Resident,

On Monday October 19, in response to the Governor’s executive order, the Bronxville Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) met for the first time in the Yeager Room of the Library.

The purpose of the committee is to engage in a fact-based and honest dialogue about the public safety needs of the community and to create a plan to adopt and implement the recommendations resulting from its review and consultation.

I provided an introduction of the committee’s mandate, introduced the various members of the committee, and then the committee received in-depth reviews of the Police Department’s governance and management structure, history, training and operational protocols.

Presentations were made be Chief Christopher Satriale, Lieutenant Richard Bunyan and Sergeant Nicholas DeYoung.

The complete presentation along with copies of all the documents and the future meeting schedule of the committee is available on the Village website.

I encourage you to spend some time reviewing this information and to forward any comments or questions to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
