Marlissa Westerfield and Bob Shearer to Co-Chair Bronxville Adult School

Jul. 9, 2014:  The Bronxville Adult School (BAS) announces its new co-chairs for 2014-2015, Marlissa Westerfield and Bob Shearer. Both bring many years of experience serving on the board to their leadership roles.

This marks the 71st year that the Bronxville Adult School has been in operation. "I would also like to take this opportunity to thank our outgoing chair, Chris Zufelt, for the many years and countless hours of dedicated service she has given to BAS," said Celia Cuce, executive director of the Bronxville Adult School. "Chris will join our esteemed advisory board of former chairs," she added, "who continue to contribute their wisdom and expertise to help bring out the best that BAS has to offer."

The BAS staff is already working hard to provide an interesting schedule of classes, lectures, and trips for the fall.

Returning to the schedule of offerings are the perennial favorites of fitness, art, languages, and bridge, but there will be some new offerings that the board is excited about, including American Sign Language, Interior Design, Astrology, Photoshop, Needlepoint, and eBay, to name just a few.

Save the date for a trip to the 9/11 Memorial Museum on Monday, September 15.

The fall/winter catalogue will arrive in the mail the first week of August. Online registration goes live on August 4.
