Sep. 30, 2020: The following entries are from the Bronxville police blotter.
September 11, 2020, 2:54 pm Palmer Avenue: A Lawrence Hospital patient reported that a gold bracelet valued at $200 a silver necklace and $100 cash were missing from her belongings.
September 12, 2020, 11:18 am Masterton Road: A resident reported that his vehicle was rummaged through overnight. No items were missing. The vehicle was unlocked and the alarm was not activated.
Septermber 12, 2020, 1:47 pm Yonkers Police Headquarters: Yonkers Police reported that they had a 43-year-old man of Yonkers in custody on an active Bronxville bench warrant for failing appear before the Bronxville Justice court on a previous arrest for Petit Larceny. The man was processed at Bronxville Police Headquarters and arraigned by Judge Primps. The man was released on his own recognizance pending his next court appearance.
September 18, 2020, 9:55 pm Beachwood Road: A loud party was reported to Police. Numerous juveniles fled the scene through neighboring yards yelling and screaming obscenities at the responding Officers. One youth was identified and his parents were notified. The homeowner was not home at th e time.
September 19, 2020, 9:19 am Parkway Road: Officers responded to a report of a verbal dispute. A domestic incident report was completed.
September 20, 2020, 5:07 pm Pondfield Road: Inappropriate chalk writing ‘”Be Gay Do Crime” was found on the sidewalk of Meadow Avenue. The graffiti was removed
September 22, 2020, 4:36 pm Pondfield Road: Two 19-year-old Bronxville residents were charged with Criminal Impersonation of a Police Officer in the
1st Degree (class E felony) for their roles in creating a fraudulent social media account with a Bronxville Police Officers’ likeness, official email and police vehicle. The defendants are also accused of using the account to communicate with a third party acting as the Officer.
September 22, 2020, 9:04 pm Elm Rock: A loose dog was reported on Elm Rock Road. The call was deemed unnecessary as the dog was on its owner’s property.
