Joan Steube Passed Away on July 1, 2023

July 12, 2023: Joan Steube, of Bronxville, New York, passed away peacefully at home on July 1, 2023 (Canada Day).
Joan was born June 10, 1946 to George and Elizabeth Daly in Montreal, Quebec, where she grew up with her brother William and sisters Andrea, Elizabeth and Martha.
Joan was a devoted wife to her husband, Ed, and an adoring mother to her three children. Joan was a bright light and shining example of courageous and positive thinking to whoever had the privilege of knowing her. Above all else, she deeply valued her family and friends.
Joan was a dual citizen (US/Canada), and as part of that Canadian heritage, she spent time virtually every summer of her life in Metis-sur-Mer, Quebec. With her family, she valued that community, as well as the Bronxville community as very special places in their lives.
Joan is survived by her husband, Edward, her brother William, her sisters Elizabeth and Martha, her three children Elizabeth Jill, Edward Joseph (Ted) and James George, and her seven grandchildren Gordon, Finley, Martha, Theo, William, (Billy), Trey and Georgia.
