Pet of the Week: Halliday

alt

By Allison Roesser

Jul. 8, 2020: Halliday arrived at a local animal shelter a few months ago. She was starved, dehydrated, and so broken that she could barely lift her head to eat.

Well, look at her now! After resting in a foster home, eating several meals a day, and having a little nip/tuck to remove her badly broken front leg, she is now ready to take on the world.

Halliday is super social and wonderfully lovely. She walks around with ease and will gladly jump into your lap and curl up for some lovin’.

She is one grateful kitty who has no interest in ever being outside again. All she desires is to be in someone’s home and in their heart.

Halliday is a medium size, adult, black and white domestic short hair with a perfect white ring around her black tail. She is good with children and other cats and is fully litter box trained. Healthy, spayed, and vaccinated, she is ready to become a part of your family.

You can meet Halliday today at the Humane Society of Westchester, 70 Portman Ave New Rochelle. The shelter is open 7 days a week. Most days 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (including Saturdays and Sundays) and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.
