Bronxville Police Blotter: April 11 to April 13, 2015

Saturday, April 11: At 3:15 pm a female resident reported that she had parked her vehicle on Parkway Road at noon and returned at 7:30 pm to find a long scratch extending the length of the side of her vehicle.
Saturday, April 11: At 8:27 pm at Il Bacio on Park Place officers responded to a call about an intoxicated male youth. The Bronxville juvenile had consumed alcohol but was not in need of medical attention. He was released to his father, who responded on the scene. A follow-up investigation will be conducted by youth officers.
Sunday, April 12: At 3:35 pm a male resident on Avon Road reported that he believed someone was trying to break into the bedroom window of his home. Officers arrived and observed a male looking into a vehicle outside the residence. When confronted, the male fled on foot resulting in a pursuit that ended in the male being apprehended by Police Officer David DiBenedetto and Police Officer Steve Valentin. The male Bronxville youth appeared to possibly be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. He was transported to Lawrence Hospital for evaluation. The homeowner did not wish to pursue criminal charges. The youth was released to his parents' care at the hospital.
Monday, April 13: At 8:55 am officers responded to The Bronxville School at the request of a teacher who discovered that a 17-year-old male student was in possession of marijuana. The youth was arrested by Police Officer Jason Cooper and charged with Penal Law Section 221.05, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana (a violation). The youth was released on his own recognizance to his mother's custody pending his next court appearance.
Monday, April 13: At 10:38 pm officers responded to a request for assistance by Lawrence Hospital security with an unruly family member of an emergency room patient. The 60-year-old Yonkers female complied with the officers' request and left of her own accord.
