Bronxville Police Blotter: May 21 to May 25, 2015

Thursday, May 21, 2015, 7:54 pm, The High Road: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was owned and operated by another village resident who did not appear to be involved in any criminal activity.
Friday, May 22, 2015, 12:37 am, Parkway Road: Police Officer Dennis Karaman observed two suspicious vehicles nestled into the Avalon parking lot. When Officer Karaman approached the vehicles, both drivers immediately drove off, resulting in a vehicle pursuit. Police Officer Karaman was able to block the stolen 2014 Jeep Cherokee on Lake Avenue and effect the arrest of the 20-year-old driver and 19-year-old passenger, both of the Bronx. Both were charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the 3rd degree (class D felony). The driver was incarcerated in the Westchester County Department of Corrections in lieu of $10,000 bail, the passenger, in lieu of $7,500 bail. The second vehicle, a Honda sedan that was also stolen, fled northbound on the Bronx River Parkway and was later recovered unoccupied on Pondfield Road West. Police have identified the driver of the vehicle and a third arrest is imminent.
Sunday, May 24, 2015, 5:22 pm, Edgewood Lane: Officers responded to a neighbor complaint on Edgewood Lane of weekend construction being performed. The contractor, who had finished the work prior to the officers' arrival, was issued a warning and advised of the village code restrictions.
Monday, May 25, 2015, 10:43 am, Pondfield Road: Officers responded to a report of an unconscious female on Pondfield Road. The 20-year-old had fainted and regained consciousness prior to officers' arrival. The woman who was believed to have been suffering from dehydration because of a strenuous cycling class was transported to White Plains Hospital via EVAC.
